We had a lovely week's stay at Croft Head. It was a warm and cosy home from home. Did some lovely walks from the door and so easy to walk into Hawkshead over the fields - the hallway was great for storing muddy boots and coats! The children loved the stream in the garden as well as the spa bath. Would definitely like to come back.

Such an amazing peaceful location, on the footpath and easy access to lots of nice places, including very easy walk to Hawskhead through fields or via quiet road. Wonderful enclosed garden to keep dogs secure and lovely cosy house. We had a lovely stay here with extended family and two very happy dogs.

Lovely house, great location. Ideal if you want somewhere secure for your dog which is alway a worry for us - lovely large fenced in garden. Given how wet it can be in the Lakes (it was) some way of drying your walking boots would have been handy. If you're tall (a couple of us are one 6ft) then be prepared to walk around much of downstairs being vRead moreey careful - we banged our heads of very low beams a few times and were alway wary of it. But super cozy. Great WiFi speeds. Good washer and dryer Hide

This traditional Lakes cottage is in an idyllic setting which can be enjoyed from two terraces, one catching the morning and one the evening sun. It is warm and cosy inside with books, toys, and a smart TV for those damper days. Our group of five with ages from four to seventy-five all enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.
