Boasting spectacular mountain views, this impressive three-bedroom cottage is nestled between the villages of Coniston and Ambleside. Enjoying a tranquil and beautiful location, it can sleep up to six people along with two of their loving canines. With some spectacular walks on the doorstep and the local pub 1 mile away, this home is a fabulous base for exploring the beautiful Lake District.

With traditional features throughout, combined with contemporary decor and design, a warm welcome awaits at this inviting home. The fresh and stylish open-plan lounge/diner is both cosy and relaxing, with a sumptuous sofa to curl up on while the wood burner gently heats the room. Tasteful furnishings and exposed beams add to the character of this social space while, in the kitchen, even the busiest of cooks will find all they need to rustle up a delicious meal for everyone. Come rain or shine, the large conservatory is a nice spot to curl up with a book or simply sit and enjoy the stunning views. Three comfortable and restful bedrooms are to be found upstairs, where guests will wake up feeling recharged and ready for the day. Step out from the conservatory onto the raised decking area and enjoy some al fresco dining as the sun sets. The kids and dogs will enjoy exploring the extensive grounds which surround the property.

The property is in Skelwith Bridge, which is set around an attractive stone bridge spanning the River Brathay. The track along the river offers an enjoyable stroll which leads you to the fantastic Skelwith Force waterfall. Wander around the many shops in popular Ambleside (3 miles) before stopping off to eat in one of its many pubs and restaurants. From here, hop on a ferry at the terminal, which will take you out across Lake Windermere.
