The large dining room is full of character and perfect for more formal family dinners, while the well-equipped kitchen will be a haven for the budding chefs of the group. A large conservatory with additional seating, also offers a further area for curling up with a good book. One of the bedrooms, a king-size, is to be found on the ground floor, while upstairs there are four spacious and inviting bedrooms which all enjoy breathtaking views over the countryside. Outside, pour yourselves a drink and fire up the BBQ as you take a seat in the garden and patio areas or relax and enjoy the hot tub.
Pick up some delicious local produce from the farm shop close by, before taking a drive to visit Devil’s Bridge at Kirkby Lonsdale, a famous local landmark and popular walking area. The historic market town of Kendal (7.5 miles) is home to the famous mint cake and great for a family day of shopping, museums and castles.
