Cottage is in a lovely quiet location & within walking distance to The Pheasant Inn, a very friendly local pub serving good food. Although the cottage is well equiped it does look a bit tired & in need of a fresh coat of paint. One of the bedrooms on the third floor had a couple of areas of black mould on the ceiling. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. Not as clean as it could be. Lovely walk to humphrey head. The pheasant pub does great food. Lovely power shower. Everything we needed. Arnside is a nice little village. Plenty to do around the area. Lovely stream at the bottom of the garden. ( beware in warm weather. You will be bitten by the midges )

Beautiful cottage and great location - if you're tall do mind your head on the lampshades though as they are low and quite pointy

This cottage is in a great location and the kitchen is very well equipped. The accommodation is not as spacious as the photographs would suggest and there are low ceilings/lights. It was rather disappointing overall

Peaceful location with a lovely stream at bottom of small back garden. Rooms and beds clean and comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Dairy farm selling lovely dairy products including ice cream nearby. However disappointed and surprised we were provided only 1 toilet roll per toilet and 2 dishwasher tablets. We were 5 adults staying 3 nights. Tea anRead mored coffee too only about 4 sachets each. You are expected to bring your own. Stayed in several self catering cottages but not encountered this before Hide

A fabulous place. The perfect back garden to relax in with a little stream for the dog to explore. The nearby Pheasant Inn is friendly and serves very good food. Lots of little walks around the place, one that includes a creamery that sells its own ice cream, which is delicious.

Wolf Cottage is a lovely comfortable holiday home in a great location, it was good to be able to pick up the Coastal Path just a short walk from the door. We were four adults and 9 year old Tilly, who loved the little stream at the bottom of the garden. We would happily return.

Great location close to the lovely Cartmel. Loved the rear balcony looking out over the stream and hills beyond. Would definitely come here again.
