Great location and lovely surroundings. However the lodge could do with a deep clean and some new bedding.

The location of this cabin is perfect; surrounded by the most breathtaking scenery and countryside. Convenient walks to gorgeous beauty spots and it welcomes dogs. However this was a 3* property at a 5* price and not worth it. The bedding (and beds!) are in need of updating; the property lacked kitchen equipment and has a 1970s payphone!! Albeit thRead moree WiFi worked well. On arrival the cabin was very cold as its surrounded by big beautiful trees that shelter it from sunshine. Will not return sorry Hide

We have stayed at Neaum Crag several times and know and love this area of the lakes very well. But, Seathwaite Tarn was a disappointment. Not as nice as it looked on line. We paid 990 for a week, far too much!! We have paid less for much nicer places. Needs new pillows and bed linen. No coat hooks anywhere to hang wet coats after walks, and nowhereRead more to put wet boots. Maybe a boot tray? They cost about 15. A much longed for holiday spoilt by this, not up to the mark, accommodation. Hide

Lovely location just outside of Ambleside. For anyone who loves walks and in need of relaxation it really is a perfect spot. The bonus is it is dog friendly. With only a couple of minutes walk from the lodge, incredible views and plenty of opportunities to exercise your 4 legged member of the family.

Whilst the location was ideal for walks and visiting nearby locations, the actual park was quite dark with it being within the trees, can't imagine a lot of sunlight getting through and as a result the cabin felt quite dark.

Fabulous cabin, very spacious with lots of wardrobe, drawer and shelf space. Very well equipped though we found it hard to operate the oven and hob but seemed to figure it out in the end. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Fabulous location.

Cottage was clean and comfortable. Very warm Disappointed when learned that the pool wasnt open as had originally chosen this site for that, but overall it didnt detract from the stunning scenery and walks.

A pleasant stay in a good location. The lodge is well located for walks from the door and easy access to the heart of the lakes. It is in a quiet location surrounded by other lodges.
