Step into the open-plan lounge/diner and make yourselves at home in the cosy cottage surroundings. An inviting place to unwind, sink into the pair of comfortable sofas in the lounge and switch on the TV for some well-deserved downtime, with the wood burner effect electric fire roaring in front of you. With everything you need to cook tasty meals, the kitchen has ample room for rustling up dinner and an open hatch to the lounge, so the chef won’t miss out on the conversation. Plate up at the dining table before finishing your day with a soak in the family bathroom where there is a double shower for freshening up in the morning. Both bedrooms are relaxing spaces in which to drift off and are decorated in calm tones for a peaceful sleep. Kick start your day with an al fresco coffee and enjoy some fresh air on the bench at the front of the house. There is off-road parking for one car.

Coincide your visit with the local Mountain Festival and enjoy days packed full of outdoor adventures, music, and fun for all the family, or visit at any time of year and enjoy all that the town has to offer. 5 miles from the heights of Skiddaw, summit the 931m mountain for terrific and far-reaching views. At one of Derwentwater’s neighbouring lakes, Ullswater (15.5 miles), you can book a cruise on the Ullswater steamer, hire boats and kayaks, and enjoy the sights of the Aira Force waterfall.

We arrived to a warm clean comfortable apartment. It had everything we needed. The apartment was located on the main road just outside of the middle of the town so perfect for getting good from a wide variety of eating places and also for starting off any walks. We had a lovely time and didn't want to leave.

Cottage was perfect. Fantastic location so convenient for everything especially in November. Kitchen very well equipped could cook full meals easily. Comfortable beds excellent shower and nice and cosy. Will definitely return.

Had an excellent stay, cottage well placed and very comfortable. The shower is one of the best . The sofas are lovely, just right for coming back to after a walk. the bottle of wine was a welcome gift. The drop in temperature on the Wednesday and Thursday meant that we considered texting for the heating to be turned up but in the end we didn't bothRead moreer. A spacious, comfortable and well equipped single storey cottage in a great location for the town. Great to have a parking spot. For someone with mobility problems the steps at the back door and distance from car parking space were a challenge, as was the slippery shower floor. We loved our stay and would gladly come again.

Fabulous cottage,the location was perfect,within walking distance to the town center,Fitz Park etc. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. A great bonus was the private parking at the back of the cottage.

The cottage is beautifully appointed with great care being spent on detail and no expense being spared. The situation is superb being close to the town centre and right opposite Fitz park with it's range of sports activities. The only suggestion would be a long shower mat to avoid anyone slipping in the shower, other than that we would say this is Read morethe best accommodation we have stayed in at Keswick and will definitely stay there again. A beautiful property in a perfect location in Keswick, very close to shops & pubs. The allocated parking space at the back is a huge bonus, the living room / dining area was very spacious, and the kitchen well equipped. This was our 2nd visit and as before, we found the apartment warm, clean, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with extra kit for walking boots etc. The location is extremely convenient for all the amenities of Keswick and the designated parking space is ace. It's perfect for 2 adults, but may be a squeeze for 3 as there isn't a vast amount of stoRead morerage space, especially if you end up with a lot of wet waterproofs. First of all, perfect location to access Keswick and a beautiful park. Bed was very comfy. Kitchen was dark and had to use light through the day as the cottage didnt bring in any natural daylight or sun. Good TV and satellite for those relaxing nights when you have been exploring all day. Stayed here many times a few years ago when we could bring our dog (no longer have one). Then had to stop coming because no dogs allowed,so very very happy to be able to visit again love the flat will be back again and again if possible.

The cottage was furnished comfortably and tastefullu. We enjoyed the artwork and could see that the owners had put a lot of thought into the decor. The view from the front room is stunning.and shops etc very close by. Thoroughly recommend it.

Great cottage and a fantastic location just around the corner from the high street and all the shops - the parking at the rear was a real bonus with spaces clearly marked and spacious - we will certainly return in the future - Keswick is a beautiful place with lots to offer and is well worth a visit
