A few external steps lead up and into this beautiful wooden lodge where you will find a warm, cosy and welcoming lounge/diner. Featuring plenty of comfortable seating, Smart TV and a wood burner-effect electric fire, the cosy lounge is an ideal space for snuggling up at the end of a fantastic day. The dining area is by the window and makes a great spot for a romantic meal which you can enjoy preparing in the fully equipped kitchen. The cabin also offers a charming double bedroom with plenty of storage space, a dressing table, an en-suite bathroom, and views over the countryside. French doors lead out from the lounge and onto a small veranda with outdoor furniture, which makes a lovely spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
The cabin makes a fabulous base for exploring the Lake District with Derwentwater immediately to the south (1.5 miles), Bassenthwaite Lake to the north (3 miles) and Ullswater to the east (14 miles). Keswick is just a mile’s walk away and is home to a wide range of pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops, with plenty of attractions and landmarks including the Derwent Pencil Museum, Puzzling Place, the Theatre by the Lake, Castlerigg Stone Circle and Keswick Adventure Centre.
