Nice cottage, well located. It is not dog friendly, no inclusion of facilities for dogs which were charged as an extra at 20 each. Must be a confident driver to go in and out of archway as very narrow in places, cottage well appointed and clean.

We have used many self catering properties throughout the UK and Spain. We have rarely visited one we thought we could live in. This though was one. Quite outstanding. We expect to return. No 3 Curry in Milnthorpe can be recommended too.

Lovely cottage, done up to a high standard it had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The pub in the village was temporarily shut during our visit but the Hare and Hounds pub in the nearby village of Levens served fantastic food. A visit to Levens Hall is also a must.

We had a lovely short break at the cottage. It is situated in a nice, quiet countryside village. It is not too far away from other lake district destinations for walks and activities.

A very well equipped and comfortable property. Fixtures and fittings are top quality as are the furnishings. A friendly Spar in Milnthorpe for last minute purchases. Lovely property in a great location so could easily drive to all areas of the Lake District. All the modern facilities and decor were great, exactly what we needed for a week away for two and the dog. A few footpaths around the property too. Very quiet and nice area and just down the road to some great walks to take the dog.
