The stylish kitchen/diner has a range of useful equipment perfect for rustling up your favourite family meals, as well as a handy breakfast bar, a more formal dining area, and bi-fold doors opening onto the patio. There are two ground-floor bedrooms: a double and a single, along with a stylish family bathroom. The first-floor landing makes a snug reading area – perfect for getting away and losing yourself in a good book. The en-suite family bedroom is upstairs, with one king-size bed and a pair of single beds. Outside, the enclosed courtyard features a patio with outdoor furniture, providing a pleasant spot for al fresco dining.
St Bees has some great pubs, a lovely promenade and a sandy pebble beach perfect for rock pooling and swimming. The St Bees Head Heritage Coast is home to a major RSPB reserve (4 miles) with chances to spot guillemots and razorbills. To the north is the bustling town of Whitehaven (4.5 miles), or you can head inland to explore the northern fringes of the Lake District (5 miles), with Ennerdale Water the nearest of the lakes (9 miles).
