Blow away the cobwebs along the sands at Drigg Beach, 8 miles away and perfect for picnics and a dip in the sea. History enthusiasts will love Muncaster Castle, 7 miles away, and with five pubs in the valley offering excellent home-cooked food with an emphasis on local produce, you could indulge in a hearty meal and pint of ale after a busy day.
