Step inside this handsome property, furnished in a country style with warm, inviting hues. On the ground floor, you’ll find a welcoming open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. Rustle up family-favourite meals in the well-equipped kitchen with its electric oven and variety of kitchen gadgets; there’s also a fridge (with an ice compartment), and a handy dishwasher, plus a washing machine and tumble dryer. Refresh in the ground-floor bathroom which has a shower over the bath, and WC. Sink into squishy leather seating in the cosy living area by the warmth of the open fire and listen to music on the CD player/radio while you read a good book. Or watch favourite programmes on the TV and DVD player. When night falls, head up spiral, cottage-style stairs from the living area to find a double bedroom with an ornamental fireplace, and a twin bedroom, both with fabulous views over the countryside towards the fells.
Outside, you’ll find a private enclosed garden with garden furniture, and a shared parking area – parking is available for two cars by your cottage door. And there’s a pub (4 miles) and a shop (7 miles) a short drive away.
