From lake cruises to fell hikes, this welcoming abode is the perfect base from which to explore the magic of the Lake District National Park.

Come rain or shine, the Lakeland market town of Keswick is a top destination. Home to a cinema, Theatre by the Lake, and attractions such as Puzzling Place, the Pencil Museum and a swimming pool, find plenty to keep you entertained all within 1 mile of your door. From the local marina, hire kayaks and stand-up paddleboards to make a splash on the water, or take the boat and get whisked away to lakeside villages where you can hop off and explore the likes of Catbells (5 miles), Lodore Falls (3.5 miles) and Surprise View (3.5 miles). For gorgeous views and just a small climb, walk from the town to Castlerigg Stone Circle, a mysterious location with a magnificent backdrop of majestic mountains.

Step up and inside to make yourselves right at home in this humble abode. Spend quality time in the open-plan living space where the lounge flows through to the dining room and the kitchen meaning you can enjoy sociable times whether you’re the designated chef or unwinding. A pair of chairs and a comfortable sofa invite you to sit awhile by the wood burner-effect gas fire. Get competitive over a board game or enjoy peace and quiet in front of the Smart TV/DVD. With everything you need to feed hungry guests, including an electric oven with four electric hobs, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a washing machine for cleaning muddy clothes fresh from adventure, the kitchen is a spacious room. Serve up a storm and raise a glass before turning in for the night and heading upstairs to bed. Both the double and the twin are calming spaces in which to drift off and the family bathroom with shower over the bath and WC invites you to start your day with a soak or a shower.

Enjoy your morning coffee alfresco in the raised garden. Sit beneath the apple tree for an idyllic spot where you can bask in the sun and enjoy tipples of an evening. An unfenced drop means little ones must be supervised at all times, so take care when letting them out to play. There is parking to the rear of the property.

Great little, comfortable, cosy cottage in an excellent location in central Keswick. Well appointed, bright airy rooms, large bathroom, Wi-Fi excellent and smart tv. We had a lovely stay, would recommend!

This an excellent cottage in a good location, comfortable, clean and has parking for two cars at the rear. (although the access road is a little tight, there is however room for two cars.)

The cottage is ideally situated in the centre of Keswick near to public transport and shops. The dedicated parking space is invaluable. The accommodation provided offers a warm, comfortable and relaxing place to stay.

Handy cottage for all the towns amenities. Clean and comfortable. Handy parking. A few steps down to back door which might be a problem for someone with mobility problems but a few less to get to front door. Generous welcome pack.

Lovely cottage in a great location, parking is a bonus. Everything you needed was there, very clean and lovely gifts, only downfall was a very noisy boiler but apparently getting fixed after we left.

Lovely to spend the holidays in a lovely cottage. Fabulous and tasty welcome pack, extra nice for the Christmas break. Excellent location to the town centre and walking spots. Would definitely stay here again.

Cottage is ideally situated in the town near the lake, pubs and restaurants. Quiet location, nicely decorated cottage. There was wine, chutney and jam waiting for us on arrival which was a lovely personal touch. We would stay here again and would recommend to anyone thinking of staying in Keswick.

This cottage is very handy for exploring Keswick and the wider area. The parking space is very useful. It is right in the centre of town so walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is a comfortable cottage that would suit a family of four. I prefer a private garden but this is a strip of garden that runs along the back of all the cottages. As Read moreusual, it is smaller than the photos appear but still suitable for two adults and two children. Netflix & BBC I Player available but Netflix hit &miss Hide

Great location, parking a real bonus, beds very comfortable, Wi-Fi excellent. Felt the standard of cleaning could have been better, mainly in kitchen and bathroom and room for improvement with the garden, better garden furniture needed. For the price we paid we feel little things like replacing the coasters which were well past their best would masRead moresively help this lovely cottage. A little tlc needed. Hide

This is a lovely house right in the centre of Keswick. The house has everything needed and very clean. Sally's cottages were extremely helpful when I needed to phone and sorted any issue we had asap with no disruption to our holiday. Would highly recommend.

The cottage was warm, clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk into the centre of the town and there are plenty of walks from the front door. The parking is a real bonus.

A very lovely cosy and comfortable cottage in a brilliant location for the town. It was well equipped and very clean. Having on site parking was a huge plus. We would happily return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 7 Bleach Green. Great to have parking so close to the town centre. It was a lovely, clean and comfortable cottage. The bottle of wine, pickle and jam were a great bonus on our arrival. Thank you.

The property was clean & well equipped, comfortable and in a perfect location in town. The deal location for local walks and for exploring the rest of the Lakes. Having a parking space was a bonus too. Would highly recommend staying here.
