Head up the long driveway, and step inside the entrance hall. Store coats and boots in the cloakroom near the car park door entrance. And there’s a convenient ground floor WC along the hall. Settle into the snug room sofas and enjoy reading, games, and film time. Stay warm by the toasty wood burner and enjoy the selection of books, boardgames, or DVDs to watch on the TV and DVD player. Curl up on the window seat with a good book or enjoy a game of pool. Relax in the bright and airy open-plan dining, living, and conservatory room with its floor-to-ceiling windows and spectacular views towards Skiddaw, Grasmoor and Buttermere. Unwind in the living area on squishy sofas and armchairs by the warmth of a wood burner (first basket of logs included) and listen to your favourite tracks on the Sonos music system. Create delicious feasts in the well-equipped kitchen which can be separated from the living area by sliding doors. The kitchen includes an electric Aga, fridge/freezer, microwave, two dishwashers, and a handy boiling hot water tap. Gather around the oak dining table and catch up on the day. Head upstairs to the half-landing area which splits into two separate short flights of stairs towards the bedrooms and bathrooms.
