On stepping into this delightful cottage, named after an east-facing crag on the nearby Watendlath Fell, you will find the light and welcoming lounge. This is a lovely space to relax in at the end of a great day out, with an open fire set in a slate fireplace, comfortable seating, and a TV and DVD player so you can snuggle up with a favourite show or movie. The charming dining room is the perfect space for sharing a family meal, which you can prepare in the fully equipped kitchen, where you will find an electric oven and hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. Heading upstairs, the first floor has two cosy bedrooms: a restful king-size room and a twin room. There’s also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. A little ‘secret room’ can be found at the top of the stairs.
Going outside, the pretty garden features a lawn with a patio area and outdoor furniture, ideal for sitting back in the evening with a glass of wine and taking in the stunning views over the valley. At the bottom of the garden, a gate leads to Hause Gill as it flows past the cottage.
