A short 5.5-mile walk will bring you to beautiful Derwentwater, where you can enjoy a quiet walk around the shoreline or embrace your adventurous side and try popular water sports such as sailing and kayaking. Further afield, Whinlatter Forest is a must for cycling and walking 4.5 miles away, while foodies and retail therapy enthusiasts will appreciate Keswick with its numerous eateries and independent shops 4 miles away.
Follow the gravelled pathway and step through the porch to discover a cosy sitting room with a feature fireplace, a wood burner and comfortable sofas, just the ticket for cosy evenings curled up inside making use of the TV and DVD. Three bedrooms provide cosy sleeping quarters for your entire party, offering a choice between two double bedrooms or a pretty twin and all offer fell views of Causey Pike or Catbells.

There is ample lawn space, and to the rear of the garden there is a path through a small patch of woodland with a mill pond and access to the nearby river through a back gate. The shared driveway has ample off-road parking. Storage for bikes is available in the small lockable outhouse.
