Situated on a quiet residential street within easy reach of Keswick’s best-loved attractions, this extensive townhouse sleeps 11 guests across five bedrooms. The town itself offers a plethora of restaurants, cafes and pubs to satisfy even the most discerning foodie, and there are lots of independent shops and galleries for you to peruse and pick up a few souvenirs. Satisfy the adrenaline enthusiasts amongst you with an action-packed day on Derwentwater, taking to the water by boat to try kayaking, sailing and fishing, or keep your feet firmly on dry land with a stroll around the shoreline. The popular Theatre by the Lake has a rolling calendar of shows and concerts to suit all tastes, and you can also visit the museums and family-run cinema.
Set across three floors, the house is simply styled with traditional details in each room. Step through the small front yard and into the property via the front door, kicking off your muddy boots and hanging up your coats. There is a separate utility room, but you’ll first discover the lounge with its large bay windows, sofas, gas-effect fire and TV. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and the separate dining room has enough seating for your entire party with shelves of books and board games for you to browse and another gas-effect fire. Climb the stairs to the first floor and to the bathroom with its bath, separate shower and WC or the shower room with its shower and WC. There is a spacious family bedroom with a double and a single bed that’s ideal for families and has it's own ensuite shower room, and a twin bedroom with two single zip-and-link beds that can be converted into a super-king-size bed on request. The final bedrooms are upstairs on the second floor where you can choose between two pretty twin bedrooms and a bedroom with full-size bunk beds.
Outside, the rear walled patio has ample tables and seating with a BBQ for al fresco suppers. Parking is roadside and subject to availability.
