Delightful cottage finished to a high standard in the centre of popular town, Keswick. A perfect retreat for a group of four adults in the Lake District.

Keswick is a bustling market town situated next to Derwentwater and surrounded by mountains. There is much to do here such as peruse the shops, dine at the restaurants or visit one of the many museums and tourist attractions. An abundance of walks is waiting to welcome you, from gentle lakeside strolls, to fell hiking. Head 6.5 miles to the fell, Blencathra or 5 miles to Skiddaw mountain, and admire the stunning views across the Northern Lake District. Go fishing, hire a boat or take part in other water sports on the fantastic Derwentwater. The regular launch service here takes visitors around the lake and stops at various notable points including the walled garden that inspired Beatrix Potter and a waterfall. Alternatively, visit Whinlatter Forest Park (5 miles) for further walks and thrilling cycling trails.

This wonderful home has been stylishly decorated and furnished throughout. The front door opens into the hallway, where you can hang up your coats and place your walking boots before heading through to the lounge/diner. A wood burner will keep you warm as you take a seat on the comfortable sofas and watch your favourite series or film on the Smart TV. The dining area has a large table and chairs with a door leading out to a patio space. A country-style kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, coffee pod machine, dishwasher and plenty of surface space to cook up a storm. The downstairs WC houses a washer/dryer for you to use, too. Upstairs, you will find the two spacious bedrooms and a family bathroom. The super-king-size bedroom’s sumptuous bed is irresistible. There is also a Smart TV in this room, the perfect place to relax. The second double room contains a lovely upholstered king-size bed, and the bathroom has underfloor heating, a shower over the bath and WC.

Situated on a quiet, residential street, this cottage boasts a fantastic, enclosed front garden. There is a neat lawn space, bordered with shrubs and trees, and a lovely bench to take a seat on as you watch the world go by. To the rear of the home is a further patio area with seating. Really lovely, warm, clean and cosy cottage. Great facilities and very convenient location. Plenty of parking at front of cottage and brilliant walking from the door. Very close to town centre and all amenities. Good storage for walking gear and great to have downstairs cloakroom. Highly recommended.

In an ideal location and with plenty of comfort and attractive decor, this house is perfect for visiting the Lakes. We were there in winter and found the modern heating system was great and easy to adjust. Beds are comfortable and theres a great shower. In warmer weather Im sure it would be lovely to sit in the lovely little garden with a cuppa.

Lovely cottage, great location to town centre. The second bedroom was a bit cramped so our kids complained after a few days. Street parking was ok, as we could somehow find a space, but private parking area would have been lovely. It was clean enough and basic equipment (washer/dryer, dish washer, microwave etc) was in good condition.
