Discover the town’s heritage at Keswick Museum or scribe holiday memories at Derwent Pencil Museum. You can also enjoy the town’s popular theatre and cinema. This property is perfectly placed for visiting the northern lakes, so dust off your hiking boots and head for the heights of Skiddaw; or venture to nearby Derwentwater Marina (2 miles) where you can mess about on boats, or wander by the shore and spot red squirrels in the lakeside woods.

Enter the shared three-storey building, set in a beautiful courtyard and head through the shared main hall to an inner hall which is the ideal place for coats and boots (shared with one other apartment). Step into your bright and airy holiday retreat where everything is set on one level and decorated in traditional style, with warm tones and wooden furniture creating an inviting home from home. Walk through to the open-plan dining and living area where you can unwind after a day exploring. Refresh in the contemporary-style family bathroom (with a shower over the bath, and WC). Cook up a storm with ingredients from Keswick’s weekly markets in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice box, microwave, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Then, catch up on the day’s events as you tuck into delicious home-cooked food at the dining table. Sink into the comfy seats in the living area where there’s a TV with Freeview and a DVD player, plus a selection of games and books to keep everyone entertained. Spotlessly clean. A lot of thought and care had gone into how the place looked. great location so handy when car parking in keswick is at a premium and expensive. Will come back again which is the best recommendation. Thank you

A nicely equipped ground floor flat in Keswick town centre which is ideal for both access to to the town and the local hills. The designated parking place was a great asset in an area where parking is at a premium

Great cottage in good position, nice to have decent comfortable furniture rather than the uncomfortable leather settees that seem to be in most properties. I would definitely recommend staying here.

A well equipped & comfortable apartment , ideally placed for all the amenities in Keswick. Ground floor situation excellent for disabled holidaymakers. Having a parking space was fantastic too - not something that's available in many places now.

Lovely ground floor apartment in the centre of Keswick. Set back so is quiet. Near co op for shopping and Booths close by. Has own parking spot which is invaluable in Keswick. Town centre, pubs and restaurants all in walking distance . Derwent water is in walking distance to. Good base camp to visit other lakes or to go hill climbing. Cottage is weRead morell appointed and clean with comfortable furniture. Will use it again and recommend it to others. Hide

Apartment is in an excellent position, just on the outskirts of town, with its own parking space and an excellent position for exploring the Lake District. Well equipped and nicely furnished but unfortunately the apartment had a damp smell, which did improve over the week slightly but needs addressing.

Lovely cosy 2 bedroom apartment, clean and well equipped throughout.
