Closer to home, the town of Cockermouth (5.5 miles) is well-equipped with amenities along with a theatre and cinema for entertainment.
Head inside to find a cheerful space with plenty of bright and airy rooms to enjoy. The heart of the ground floor, down two steps is its spacious kitchen with an electric hob and cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine along with a sturdy wooden breakfast table for enjoying meals together. Farmhouse-style pinewood cupboards give this room an authentic feel, a style element that’s carried through into the rest of the property. From the kitchen, you’ll have easy access to a handy ground-floor bathroom with WC and bath with handheld shower attachment. Completing the ground floor is a cosy lounge with space for six to unwind.
