Wander on through to the striking lounge/diner, with its oak beams and vaulted ceiling above the dining area. Light the open fire, switch on the TV which has Freeview, or simply admire the artwork including an original sculpture. Amble over to the kitchen/breakfast room area to cook hearty meals for your party. Find this space has a fan oven, halogen hobs, microwave and dishwasher. Climb the stairs up to the galleried landing, with its village view and book collection. There are three king-size bedrooms, plus a single room for a child, all with scenic views. The generous family bathroom, with its freestanding, victorian cast iron bath, shower, WC and handbasin, is also on the first floor, together with a separate WC.

We absolutely loved our stay at Latrtigg View! Everything was perfect from directions to get there, instructions and the house itself was beautiful and well equipt. Amazing location but quiet enough to feel secluded and private! We will definitely be back! Thankyou!!!

The house was well located and well equipped but it is quiet quirky and tired as some of the other reviews say. It felt damp and cold and it was only October! Beds were comfortable and bathroom was fabulous.

A historic cottage in a very quiet location, close to Keswick and superb mountain walks. The downstairs is spacious: a choice of fireside sitting, dining room, kitchen/diner and outdoor dining. The lovely garden faces south and east and opens directly onto the surrounding countryside. The large master bedroom has great views to the mountains. Fabulous cottage. Three good double rooms, walkable into Keswick and also great walks from the doorstep. Comfortable lounge with open fire and nice outside space. The cottage has a lovely feel to it. A good base for good weather or bad.

Beautiful house and location. Very comfortable, highly recommended. Just be aware there are no provisions at all, not even salt, (2 loo rolls and a dishwasher tablet for each day of your stay are provided) so bring everything from condiments to washing powder and soap.

Lattrigg view is a beautiful, spacious cottage in a brilliant location, near enough to Keswick for the shops but far enough away for peace and quiet. We particularly loved the garden which we made full use of on a brilliantly sunny week. I would have loved a wet day just to spend in the cottage to read all the interesting books!
