Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Keswick, explore all that the area has to offer whilst enjoying your secluded spot.
A quick wander over the River Greta and its footbridge takes you to Fitz Park, a lovely spot to play with children and home to Keswick Museum and the swimming pool. Head out for a walk and summit the top of Latrigg, a small fell with panoramic views close to home (1.5 miles) or tackle the 9.5-mile loop of Coledale Horseshoe which winds its way over the Wainwright Fells and begins 3 miles away in Braithwaite. If the rain pays a visit throughout your stay, fear not, there are plenty of places in the heart of Keswick to keep you entertained including museums, fun-filled attractions and the cinema, and Theatre by the Lake.
Upon entering the property make your way into the heart of the home and pop the kettle on in the kitchen/diner, where light decor creates a welcoming ambience, and you are invited to cook up delicious feasts to plate up at the table. It is well-equipped with a fan oven, gas hobs, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Store muddy boots and coats in the cupboard before making your way through to the lounge for some time to unwind. A comfortable sofa and pair of chairs invite you to melt down and relax in front of the wood burner-effect gas fire with a good book or your favourite TV programme on. There is also a handy WC on this level too. After long days, enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in one of two lovely bedrooms which can be found on the first floor. Tranquil tones and natural light help create calming spaces in which to drift off and dream. Both the king-size and the twin bedrooms share the family bathroom where you can start your day with a soak in the corner bath or freshen up in the separate shower.
Spend balmy evenings with a glass of something cold in hand and step down to the small, gravelled garden for a breath of fresh air. There is parking for one car, so you can head out to explore with ease.
