A great place to stay for exploring the immediate area, and further a field. Comfortable, and clean.and well equipped. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It is right on the road, and next to the pub, however, this wasn't a problem, and it was relatively quiet the majority of the time. If We needed to stay in the area again , we would seriouRead moresly consider staying again. Hide

Hill view has by far triumphed other cottages we have stayed at throughout the years. From the character, to the aesthetics, lighting a fire in two woodburners, to half opening the barn door, staying at Hill View has been such a restful treat!

The cottage was in a quiet area of the lakes in a beautiful location. It was clean and spacious, homely and perfectly equipped, with a welcome gift and extras like extra toilet roll, foil and soap. Steph was great at communicating and access was simple with her living next door. Parking was simple outside the property, and there were nice local walRead moreks. We explored all over the lakes, Coniston Water being the closest lake, and about an hour up to the top of the area. Would definitely recommend. Hide

A very comfortable cottage, spacious and very clean with everything you could need. Just to note, the TV only has standard channels and a DVD player but the wifi was very good so this wasn't a problem. Location-wise, Bouth is easy to get to from the motorway and is a great base to visit areas around Coniston and Windermere. The coastal areas to theRead more south can be overlooked but are worth a visit. We recommend going for a walk in the village after dark as you can see bats and even a couple of owls! Hide

Absolutely lovely cottage with everything we needed! Well located in the Lake District. Steph was incredibly helpful, stocking the cottage with a number of amenities including tea and coffee before we arrived, and was available whenever we messaged her. We would definitely stay here again.
