Bouth is a pretty Cumbrian village with a welcoming pub, and makes a great base for exploring the southern part of the Lake District. Windermere (5 miles), Coniston Water (6 miles) and Esthwaite Water (7.5 miles) provide plenty of opportunities for water sports, ferry trips and woodland walks. There are numerous local landmarks and attractions including the Lakeland Motor Museum (3.5 miles), the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway (2 miles), The Old Man of Coniston (12 miles), South Lakes Safari Zoo (9.5 miles), Fell Foot Park (5 miles), Grizedale Forest (9 miles) and Holker Hall and Gardens (6.5 miles). The market town of Ulverston (6 miles) is the birthplace of Stan Laurel and is home to the Laurel and Hardy Museum.
Entering this characterful and traditional holiday cottage, the pretty kitchen/diner is a lovely space for cooking and enjoying all your favourite meals. Equipped with an electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher, this room also has a lovely dining area and original features including an exposed ceiling beam and a wood burner set in a quaint fireplace. The washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in a nearby utility room. The ground floor also has a lounge where you can relax at the end of a busy day. This room features original exposed beams, a flagstone floor and a cosy wood burner as well as a TV so you can snuggle up and watch a favourite movie. Stairs lead up to the first floor where you will find two cosy and inviting bedrooms, each tastefully decorated and featuring exposed ceiling beams. The first is a spacious double bedroom with plenty of storage space, a delightful window seat and a feature fireplace. The second bedroom is a pretty single with a three-quarter bed. The family bathroom is also on the first floor, complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.
