We had a lovely week in a very cosy cottage in a superb location. Two good pubs, a coffee shop and local shop in the village. It was great to be able to walk on to the fells right from the door.

This is a beautiful tastefully renovated cottage with modern amenities which we found to be an excellent holiday home. Cosy and comfortable in the bad weather we suffered but with some excellent walks virtually from the doorstep.

The house was in a great location on the edge of the village and two minutes walk from a pub with a nice beer garden. It was wonderfully quiet at night. Inside it was renovated to a high standard and was very comfortable, apart from the mattresses.
