Wonderful property that’s perfect for family or friends holidaying together, just a short walk from Keswick town centre with the many wonders of the Lake District to discover close by.

There’s a reason that groups flock back to beautiful Keswick year-on-year, not just owing to its wonderful town centre attractions but also thanks to the many thrilling activities on offer close by. Set on the banks of Derwentwater (1 mile), the property is within close reach of exciting water sports and beautiful boat trips. Venture out and walk the 10-mile radius of the water before venturing into Keswick for a bite to eat. Mountain walking is also on offer in this area, with the easy going Catbells just 4.5 miles away and the more challenging Skiddaw (5 miles) and Blencathra (7 miles) close by. Take a trip in the car to nearby Ullswater to see the Aira Force Waterfall (14 miles), another truly enjoyable day out and about.

Set across two floors, this terraced property is bright and airy with clean décor and cheerful accents throughout. On arrival, you’ll find a kitchen with everything you need to feed your party. The room is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge. Meals can be enjoyed together in the adjacent living/dining room, a great spot for lounging mid-morning breakfasts or evenings meals. Opposite the round dining table sits a lounge set with TV and a well-stocked bookcase, along with a gas-effect electric fire to emit a cosy glow throughout the room. From here, you can head on into the sun room with large windows and seating options, the ideal spot to hide away with a good book. Head upstairs where two attractive bedrooms invite you to catch forty winks. The first is a double room with beautiful views to wake up to each and every morning, the second is a twin bedroom with storage for clothes. Completing the property is a modern family bathroom with WC and shower over bath.

Firstly the location is great , the garden amazing and the bathroom lovely . However , the sofa is EXTREMELY uncomfortable +++++. The kitchen is dated and tired . The spare bedroom well outdated . With a bit more attention this could be a cracking cottage but in current state def not worthy of a 4 star.

Clean, comfortable, well equipped. Good location for the fells, lake and amenities. Rear garden gives access to the park which is great for going out with the dog. View of Latrigg from the property. We have booked our 3rd stay here. Overall a nice place to stay.

This is a lovely cozy, comfy cottage. Its in a great location, with the river running behind the house and a 5 minute walk through Fitz park into town The house is warm and snug and well equipped. The shower is powerful and hot and we loved it. The beds are extremely comfy and lovely white bedding made it really nice. My only negative is the lack oRead moref a washing machine - we stayed for 3 weeks and it was a bit of a challenge having to use the laundry in the bad weather. Would return to house Hide

The cottage is in a great location we walked into Keswick every day more than once as it was so easy to get to! The bed was very comfortable as was the couch. It was left very clean couldnt have asked for anything more.

We love staying here. We stayed last year, this year and will be back! The location is perfect. A very short walk to the town centre through a beautiful park. We spent a week, went on walks most days and only had to drive once.

A lovely little cottage behind Fitz park. Good shower, very comfortable pillows and bed. Very well stocked kitchen and lovely sunroom. Saw a woodpecker in the garden!

Fellbeck is a lovely cottage, very clean, very comfortable bed and the location is only a 5 minute walk into town, through Fitz park. The owners have given a lot of thought regarding furnishings, from the coat and hat stand to the shoe rack in the conservatory, ample storage space in the bedrooms and the smart TV was a nice surprise, we could catchRead more up on Ten Pound Poms in the evenings! Ive stayed in many properties in Keswick and this is by far my favourite! The house was lovely, so warm and cosy.
