Set in the heart of the thriving and vibrant Lakeland market town of Keswick, this spacious and relaxing reverse-level property makes a lovely holiday retreat for four guests. Providing warm and cosy accommodation for couples and families, this airy and delightful getaway has been beautifully updated, stylishly decorated and tastefully furnished throughout. A great base for walkers, hikers, climbers, cyclists, nature lovers and water sports fans, this pretty cottage is ideal for discovering the glorious landscapes of the northern reaches of the magnificent Lake District National Park.

On entering this refreshing, bright and colourful property, head up to the first floor where you will find the charming lounge/diner. With plenty of seating, a Smart TV and a sociable dining table, this is a perfect space for everyone to get together and unwind at the end of a fabulous day exploring the Lake District. The pretty kitchen has been imaginatively designed and features a range of useful equipment, perfect for cooking all your favourite family meals. Returning to the ground floor, there are two cosy bedrooms for you to choose between: a twin and the main double room, along with an invigorating family bathroom. Heading outside, the pretty garden has a lawn and seating area, and makes an ideal space for a spot of al fresco dining.

Situated between the peaks of Skiddaw (5 miles) and Blencathra (7 miles), the thriving market town of Keswick has some great pubs, restaurants and shops, and is a popular centre for activities including kayaking, paddleboarding, climbing and canoeing. Attractions in the town include The Puzzling Place, the Theatre by the Lake, the Derwent Pencil Museum and Keswick Adventure Centre. Also nearby are Mirehouse and Gardens on the banks of Bassenthwaite Lake, Castlerigg Stone Circle and the Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum (all within 5 miles).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location could not have been better and great parking. The cottage had everything to make our stay special. So cosy and quiet and a little private garden too. Thank you to the owners for the welcome box it was a lovely surprise and greatly received. We can highly recommend this cottage.

Excellent location, great that it has a parking spot and secure storage for at least 4 bikes, all within a few metres of the Market Sq in Keswick. A lovely cosy cottage, perfect for a few days away.

I will be booking this cottage again very soon , it was very clean and cosy, close to the center of town but its location was so well hidden if you didnt look out the window you would have thourght you was in the middle of no wear the welcome pack was a really nice surprise , just a fantastic place to stay 10 out of 10 .

A well-located property, with parking close by, and well equipped. The central Keswick location suited a family with active young adults very well, and we really appreciated the welcome pack. Decor and furniture is a bit dated as the photos show, and the second bedroom is very dark, but it felt good value to us and we had a great holiday while baseRead mored here. Hide

Great location for exploring, walks , shops and restaurants. Your own parking space in central Keswick too. There was a nice welcome gift on arrival and everything we needed for our stay. The only thing is the property is tired looking and in need of updating in some places but this did not affect our time in the Lake District.

Quite a nice cottage, probably a 7/10. It's a bit old-fashioned, but the photos show that, so there's no surprises. The lounge/diner is a lovely room with plenty of natural light. Kitchen's OK, reasonably well equipped and does the job. It's a bit dated, so won't be too everyone's taste. Bed was comfortable, with reasonable storage. Great cottage. Location was amazing, couldn't believe how close it was to the centre of Keswick. Lovely welcome hamper on arrival, really nice touch. Really clean and well presented accommodation. Great parking. Would highly recommend. Will be back again!
