Stylishly furnished, whilst keeping the original features, this two-floor apartment located in the heart of the pretty Lakeland town of Keswick with everything on your doorstep to make a perfect holiday.

This beautifully styled apartment is set over two floors and in a lovely position in the centre of the market town of Keswick. The town has a great selection of restaurants and independent shops to explore. You can enjoy your Lake District surroundings with a stroll down to the shores of Derwentwater (0.5 miles) to catch the launch from Keswick across the lake and conquer Catbells, popular with walkers of all ages and abilities.

Walking through the door of this newly renovated and beautifully appointed property, you’ll find the lounge is a lovely light space with a beautiful bay window. This room has been tastefully decorated and furnished with comfort and elegance in mind. There are two sofas - a three-seater and a two-seater - and two comfy chairs which surround the Smart TV, perfect for a family night in or a daytime movie. The chef of the family will enjoy creating a feast in the fabulously designed kitchen. Here we have an electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge/freezer, plus an island unit with stools. Just off the kitchen is the utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Next to that is the dining room with a dining table and chairs for all to gather around and enjoy a good meal or plan the next day’s adventures. Heading into the hallway is the master bedroom with a king-size bed and the separate shower room is also on this floor. Heading down to the lower ground floor, you will find another two bedrooms: a twin bedroom (can be made into a super-king upon request) and another king-size bedroom. In between the two bedrooms is a shower room with a shower and WC.

The patio area with seating is a stunning spot to enjoy those amazing views and a glass of wine after a busy day exploring the local area. There is private parking for one car, and on-street parking available nearby, subject to availability.

We felt at home as soon as we arrived the house was warm and cosy and in an excellent location with everything on the door step. Fully equipped with everything we needed.

Absolutely lovely house! Everything was brilliant, great location with just a very short walk into town. The hosts were fabulous, great communication and help, couldnt have asked for more from them! Would definitely recommend!!

Accommodation was great, very clean, very comfortable and exactly as described on the website. Private parking was a big plus as you don't have to worry about parking the car on the public street or car park. Its a lovely property and a great location (only a few minutes from the main street in Keswick) so we will be staying again some time in the Read morefuture. Highly recommended. Hide

Apartment was great and really well equipped. Very comfy and cosy. Fantastic location as well. We really enjoyed our stay. Pubs and restaurants all within a 2 minute walk. Keswick is a great town with loads to do.

Spotless apartment, with lovely proportioned rooms, bright and airy, with everything you could need on your holiday. A fantastic base to all amenities, hikes, bike rides, parks and direct access to Derwentwater. Things to do all week without touching your car, if you so wish. Lovely accommodation in a brilliant location. We only took the car out to go up to Winlatter as everything else was in easy walking distance. Lovely to cycle and run round Derwent Water and even made it up a few Wainwrights. Reserved parking was a big bonus .

The property was immaculate throughout. All the rooms are lovely, the dining kitchen is a great space. The location is ideal, right in the centre of the village & the parking space was a bonus. Excellent location, didn't even need to drive to the supermarket. Lovely house, well equipped and lots of nice features like soap and toilet rolls in the bathrooms. Very spacious rooms. We had a great time. Nice little seating area for morning coffee and evening drinks. Parking which is a rare find in the Lakes. Weather was fabulous too.

Newlands Escape is a high standard accommodation in all respects. No expense has been spared in the conversion with high quality fixtures and fittings throughout. Its location is perfect for anyone with mobility issues being a quarter of a mile or so from the market square. The owners provided excellent support, even driving to us to change a bulb.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location just 2 minutes walk to town but in a side street which was very quiet. The cottage had everything you would need, it was well equipped and it was spacious and very comfortable. There was a folder with recommendations for things to do and where to eat which was very useful. Id be happy to stay here again when Im Read morenext in the area. Hide

Wonderful accommodation. Very clean, well appointed cottage. Everything we needed in kitchen and very comfortable beds. Lovely location with nice outdoor seating and a bit of a view. Comfortable living room with good tv and WiFi access. Very convenient location to multiple hikes, the town and grocery.
