Stylishly furnished, whilst keeping the original features, this two-floor apartment located in the heart of the pretty Lakeland town of Keswick with everything on your doorstep to make a perfect holiday.

This beautifully styled apartment is set over two floors and in a lovely position in the centre of the market town of Keswick. The town has a great selection of restaurants and independent shops to explore. You can enjoy your Lake District surroundings with a stroll down to the shores of Derwentwater (0.5 miles) to catch the launch from Keswick across the lake and conquer Catbells, popular with walkers of all ages and abilities.

Walking through the door of this newly renovated and beautifully appointed property, you’ll find the lounge is a lovely light space with a beautiful bay window. This room has been tastefully decorated and furnished with comfort and elegance in mind. There are two sofas - a three-seater and a two-seater - and two comfy chairs which surround the Smart TV, perfect for a family night in or a daytime movie. The chef of the family will enjoy creating a feast in the fabulously designed kitchen. Here we have an electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge/freezer, plus an island unit with stools. Just off the kitchen is the utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Next to that is the dining room with a dining table and chairs for all to gather around and enjoy a good meal or plan the next day’s adventures. Heading into the hallway is the master bedroom with a king-size bed and the separate shower room is also on this floor. Heading down to the lower ground floor, you will find another two bedrooms: a twin bedroom (can be made into a super-king upon request) and another king-size bedroom. In between the two bedrooms is a shower room with a shower and WC.

The patio area with seating is a stunning spot to enjoy those amazing views and a glass of wine after a busy day exploring the local area. There is private parking for one car, and on-street parking available nearby, subject to availability.

Perfect location for walking around Keswick centre but nicely tucked away in a quiet spot. The property was immaculate and very cosy. Plenty of space for relaxing or cooking and the ideal base for getting around the Lakes. Superb location, quality, well equipped, clean, comfortable roomy apartment. 3 generations had a great week's stay. Would definitely recommend and hope to return as we feel it was the best accommodation we have stayed in in Keswick over the years.

What a place! Beautifully presented, ultra clean, everything you needed to make it home from home. Beds super comfy, showers had decent power and the water was always hot. A long weekend wasnt long enough. The apartment was only a two minute walk to Keswick high street. Parking a bonus - it was mountain festival weekend - a very busy Keswick - and Read moreparking spaces were difficult to find. Sam was incredibly helpful and kind, very easy to contact, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend! Hide

This place has everything need and is in a really good location with parking. The communication is great before arrival and during. This is the second time weve stayed here and well definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Accommodation was great, very clean, very comfortable and exactly as described on the website. Private parking was a big plus as you don't have to worry about parking the car on the public street or car park. Lovely accommodation in a brilliant location. We only took the car out to go up to Winlatter as everything else was in easy walking distance. Lovely to cycle and run round Derwent Water and even made it up a few Wainwrights. Reserved parking was a big bonus .

Excellent location, didn't even need to drive to the supermarket. Lovely house, well equipped and lots of nice features like soap and toilet rolls in the bathrooms. Very spacious rooms. We had a great time. Nice little seating area for morning coffee and evening drinks. Parking which is a rare find in the Lakes. Weather was fabulous too.

Newlands Escape is a high standard accommodation in all respects. No expense has been spared in the conversion with high quality fixtures and fittings throughout. Its location is perfect for anyone with mobility issues being a quarter of a mile or so from the market square. The owners provided excellent support, even driving to us to change a bulb.
