From Lake Windermere (0.5 miles) take a ferry to Bowness, Brockhole or Lakeside Pier near Newby Bridge with rowing boat or motorboat hire.

Deer are regular visitors to the garden of the main house and there’s nothing better than watching them bask in the sunshine. The views from the other side of the room are just as appealing, with a stunning vista over the classic Lakeland walk, The Fairfield Horseshoe. With its comfy sofa, smart TV and dining table for four, this sun-filled room invites you to relax. Off the lounge you will find a cosy beamed south-facing double bedroom and a modern bathroom featuring a shower over the bath, and WC, perfect for relaxing after a day in the mountains or sightseeing.
Parking is available for one vehicle. There is a slight gradient when entering the car park, low fronted vehicles will need to take caution and drive slowly.
