The cottage was perfect for our family holiday, the size & amenities ticked all our boxes. The location was perfect; walks to Lakeside to catch the ferry across Windermere, short drive to Ulverston. The cottage felt welcoming, & the owners certainly added touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Would certainly recommend, & will returnRead more. Hide

Beautiful cottage, amazing setting. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We were mainly out during the day, but loved going into the garden in the morning and seeing all the birds and watching the little train go past. We were even treated to a an air show (fighter jet flying past) one morning. Our daughter loved it! We also Read moreloved The Lakes Monopoly. Booths at Ulverston was great for groceries. A very comfortable cottage in a delightful location. The only negative we had (which nothing could be done about) were the steep stairs, but it didn't spoil our holiday. Would highly recommend this property.
