Lovely Lakeland stone terrace house, with a traditional sense of style. With local amenities on your doorstep this property offers a great base to explore the Lakes.

Attractive property with handy amenities nearby in the pretty market town of Keswick, surrounded by high peaks, Skiddaw and Blencathra and located between Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite all under 6 miles. This area offers a great base to explore the Lakes and fells either on foot, bike, by car or bus. Castlerigg Stone Circle is less than 2 miles away dating back to the Neolithic era. Derwentwater is south of town, less than 1 mile away, here you will find eight jetties where you can hop on and off the boat to explore. Visit Theatre by the Lake take in a show and visit Crow Park which is opposite, you can get 360 degree views of the mountains along with stunning views down the lake towards the exceptionally beautiful Borrowdale valley.

As you enter the property you will find yourself in the hallway where there is space to hang your coats and kick off your muddy boots. Off the hallway is the cosy lounge with wood burner and comfortable seating to relax and watch a good movie. Next door there is a formal dining room with a stunning feature fireplace, the kitchen leads off from the dining room it is well equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave . You can access the enclosed garden from the kitchen through a handy porch. Head back to the hallway, and up to the first floor, there is a family bathroom located mid landing, it has a bath, separate shower and WC. On the first floor there are two bedrooms a pretty twin and a double bedroom.

The enclosed garden is suntrap on a nice day with seating where you can enjoy a coffee or read a good book. There is unallocated on street parking which is unrestricted or if you would prefer to use the car park which is one street away, there is a reduced weekly rate available.

Really great location, just away from the busyness of town centre, but not too far, approximately, 5-10 minute walk, if that. Such a clean property with everything you need, proper home from home. Great cottage, very clean, comfortable lounge and smart TV which was handy. Excellent shower and modern bathroom. Very well laid out kitchen, plenty of glasses and cups and a caffettiere for coffee. Location is perfect, quiet road but very close to the town centre. We were lucky with glorious weather and the garden is a good sun trap.

Primrose cottage in Keswick is a real home from home place to stay. It has everything anyone could ever need, in terms of home comforts, to all kitchen utensils to cook a meal from scratch. Lovely house in great central Keswick location. Could easily walk into town, down to the lake and the playground with the kids (5 & 3 yrs). Always managed to park pretty close to the house. Great base to explore the northern lakes!

Lovely homely, cosy, comfortable property in a great location, close to the gorgeous countryside & all amenities in Keswick, we did a different walk every day from the house, didnt drive at all once we arrived. Well equipped throughout, kitchen & bathroom very smart, great shower, comfortable beds, plenty of storage. Im a light sleeper, the street Read moreis very quiet. Our stay at Primrose Cottage in Keswick was lovely. A spotlessly clean and beautiful property with gorgeous features and vintage furniture items, alongside some modern items. A well equipped kitchen, separate dinning and drying rooms has everything anyone could ever need. Spacious upstairs, comfortable bed and separate shower and bath. We had a great time in this wonderful property which has amazing period furniture, art work and light shades. Comfortable settees and beds plus a fully equipped modern kitchen and great bathroom with a lovely walk in shower. The location is excellent, close enough to walk in to the centre of Keswick in five minutes, yet far enough away to be nice and quiet. The property was very clean and tidy on arriving, the bathroom (which is light and airy and has a great shower) and kitchen (which has everything you need) both look to have been refurbished recently.
