We had a little difficulty finding the cottage, we called the local help number and spoke to a gentleman that had been to the property and helped us locate it after going up and down the road a few times. The cottage itself was lovely, the views from the decking area out the back of the property was beautiful. What a gem. A beautiful cottage, stunning views, super comfy bed, tranquil, and in a desirable, chilled out location for views, walking and seeing Red Squirrels. We walked in Dodd Woods, straight up to Skiddaw from the back door, and walked to and from Keswick several times during our stay. We fell in love with GD Smiths slate memorial bench in MilRead morelbeck while soaking up sunsets on one of the best views in the area. We are already planning our next visit. Hide

Amazing cottage, lovely views from bedroom window. Had Tesco delivery on day we got there so didnt need to travel with groceries which was handy. Very cozy cottage, it is hidden but help line helped us find it. Loved the area and would stay again.

This property was great for us. We wanted somewhere with an enclosed garden so we could let our dog out without worrying about gaps in hedges or busy roads nearby - so this place was perfect. We really enjoyed the cottage, clean, cosy and with great views from the lounge and decking. Garden was secure for the dogs and parking was not an issue either just out front (mostly to load and unload) and then in the lay-by a very short distance away. Would definitely stay again!
