Step through the front door into the country kitchen, put the kettle on or open a bottle of wine, take off your shoes, and enjoy a comfortable seat in the lounge which is next door. Open the door from the lounge and you can listen to the chorus of birdsong and the babbling beck at the bottom of the garden or cosy up and enjoy the hypnotic dancing flames of the log burner. The open staircase from the lounge takes you up to the first floor where you will find the bathroom and two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both of which have views over the garden.
The cottage is just 300 yards from the owner’s working dairy and sheep farm which is just along the road; if you would like a tour or want to feed the lambs in spring, this can be arranged with them directly. There is an enclosed lawned garden to the rear of the property which leads down to the beck.
