The edge of Lake District National Park can be found in the nearby village of Hesket Newmarket (7.5 miles), where you can enjoy a range of walks along the picturesque trails along the Cumbrian Way through to the neighbouring village of Caldbeck.
Up a step and into this feature property, you’ll start on the first floor where there’s a lovely open-plan living area. First off is the lounge which you won’t want to leave with the two sofas’ surrounding the TV, then we have the snug area up a spiral staircase which is perfect for any point of the day to relax in with a good book. Tucked away in the corner is the dining area with oak seating and a table. The open-plan kitchen means no one is left out when it comes to mealtimes, and everything is here for cooking up a treat. Down the winding wooden stairs to the ground floor, there’s the main bedroom with a double bed, followed by the twin zip-and-link room that can be made up as a super-king-size bed if required, and then the charming main bathroom.
