Off the kitchen area you will find the formal dining room which is decorated in dark tones; it is very atmospheric and is the perfect room for enjoying a special occasion! Off the dining room, there is an en-suite super-king-size bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and oak flooring. It offers a great place to get away from the crowd, read a good book or watch your favourite film. Head up the traditional stone staircase which has been blended with the oak design to the first floor. Here you will find a spacious family bathroom with a lovely bath, perfect for relaxing in after a busy day exploring the area. There are two super-king-size bedrooms on this floor both have fabulous views and one has an en-suite shower room. Heading back downstairs into the hallway, across from the kitchen, go down the staircase into the original hay barn where you will find two more bedrooms. We had a wonderful family gathering over Christmas and the facilities were all excellent. Kitchen well equipped and a great place to gather. Suited us having two seating areas as grandsons enjoyed their time in the "snug" while we occupied the "Great Hall" as it came to be known. I, personally, loved the mezzanine floor amongst the eclectic mix of Read morebooks. Various members of the family spent time browsing and reminiscing over books read in the past. One person even read the book on duelling! Hide
