As you enter this property you will find yourself in the unusual lobby with stone flooring which features the original property entrance. The property is eco friendly with all heating and hot water produced by a ground-source heat pump. As you walk through the hallway you will find the contemporary well equipped kitchen with some original features which are a special edition to this room. The large island has seating so you can sit and chat with the chef of the party and enjoy a glass of wine while you wait for dinner! There is access out onto the raised terrace from the kitchen; this offers a great place to enjoy al fresco dining on a sunny evening. Off the kitchen area you will find the formal dining room which is decorated in dark tones; it is very atmospheric and is the perfect room for enjoying a special occasion! Off the dining room, there is an en-suite super-king-size bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and oak flooring. Head back through to the kitchen, and at the bottom of the stairs leading to the first floor you will find a cosy snug with comfortable seating and a Smart TV. It offers a great place to get away from the crowd, read a good book or watch your favourite film. Head up the traditional stone staircase which has been blended with the oak design to the first floor. Here you will find a spacious family bathroom with a lovely bath, perfect for relaxing in after a busy day exploring the area. There are two super-king-size bedrooms on this floor both have fabulous views and one has an en-suite shower room. Heading back downstairs into the hallway, across from the kitchen, go down the staircase into the original hay barn where you will find two more bedrooms. Choose from a twin bedroom that has direct access out onto the garden, with a bathroom next door, and a king-size bedroom at the end of the hall. The lounge is up a flight of stairs, and this room offers the most amazing space to relax and socialise with friends and family. The gallery library features a piano, a high vaulted exposed beamed ceiling, oak flooring and huge pieces of artwork hanging on the walls, making this room very special!

We had a wonderful family gathering over Christmas and the facilities were all excellent. Kitchen well equipped and a great place to gather. Suited us having two seating areas as grandsons enjoyed their time in the "snug" while we occupied the "Great Hall" as it came to be known. I, personally, loved the mezzanine floor amongst the eclectic mix of Read morebooks. Various members of the family spent time browsing and reminiscing over books read in the past. One person even read the book on duelling! Hide
