This inviting home away from home is perfect for couples and small families, as well as your four-legged companions. For nature enthusiasts, the Duddon Estuary beckons with its sandy and pebbled shores at Haverigg Beach and Millom Beach, both just a short 9-mile drive away. History buffs can venture to the nearby Barrow-in-Furness, 15 miles away, to explore the ruins of Furness Abbey and the Dock Museum. Just 13 miles away you can enjoy a cruise along Coniston Water, or rent rowing boats, sailing dinghies, canoes, or kayaks from Coniston Pier. With a variety of walks to suit different levels of fitness, you can choose from easy strolls around the lake or challenge yourself with the famous Old Man of Coniston.

 Stepping through the front door you are welcomed by an olde worlde charm, with beautifully traditional oak beams and a cosy wood burner, the lounge claims itself as the heart of the house. With books and board games, a-plenty, the whole group can sit together for a relaxing evening. The open-plan layout of the ground floor means conversations can flow between guests; from the farmhouse-style kitchen, through to the dining area with decorative open fire. Heading up the original staircase in this listed building, you will find a cosy double bedroom and a delightful single bedroom, perfect for the younger ones in the group! Across the hall, the master double bedroom offers ample space, with gorgeous built-in wardrobes there is plenty of space to get ready or wind down after a day on the fells. On the same floor you can find the shower room with a walk-in shower and WC.

Outside, you will find the private garden, with ample space for a kick about or entertain over a BBQ.

This is a lovely cottage very close to the centre of the village. a great place for exploring the southern Lakes.
