Tarn Hows itself is also 4.5 miles away towards Hawkshead (6 miles) and makes for a beautiful place to walk. Grasmere is steeped in history with the William Wordsworth Museum (6.5 miles) and some of the best gingerbread which dates back to the 1630’s! Closer to home, you can enjoy walks along the River Brathay, starting at Skelwith Force, (0.5 miles) straight through into Elterwater (2 miles) and the Langdale Valley (3 miles). For evenings out or a refreshing beer, your local is only a short walk away, (0.5 miles).

Once inside you are welcomed by the open-plan kitchen/diner and cosy living space with everything you need to rustle up a delightful family dinner or romantic meal for two.
