Close by is the village of Lakeside, at the tip of Lake Windermere, where you can enjoy a fun-filled day out, whether travelling over the lake by boat with Windermere Lake Cruises or taking the scenic route by train via the Lakeside and Haverthwaite railway. Or, why not go off the beaten track and spend a day walking with wolves at the nearby Predator Experience, only 1.5 miles away?
