This beautifully restored barn is perfect for those looking for a slower pace of life whilst exploring the great outdoors. There are many walks and cycle routes from your doorstep. The quaint village of Kirkby Stephen is 10 miles northeast, where you can enjoy shops, pubs and cafes and gather your supplies for the week ahead. For an enjoyable day out steeped in history, why not head over to Pendragon Castle (12 miles) where the sandstone remains allude to the legends surrounding King Arthur. The Northern Pennies and Eden Valley are also within easy reach, both within 15 miles. The whole family will love a day out to the popular Lake District village of Pooley Bridge (23.5 miles), take a stroll along the banks of Ullswater or hop on a boat and admire the stunning surrounding scenery before stopping off for lunch in one of the local independent eateries.

Had a lovely stay at the cottage, the location is quite remote but this gives you so much peace and quiet its great. The views are beautiful and theres everything you require to make your stay comfortable. Would return in a heartbeat.
