Head to Caldbeck (2.5 miles) or Sebergham (5 miles), and stroll through woodlands with valley views. Past Caldbeck, find The Howk and pretty waterfalls as you follow the river. High Pike (4.5 miles) and Carrock Fell (4 miles) can both be walked to from the door, and several other walks in the Northern Fells are within easy reach and are great hiking spots for those looking for a more challenging hike. Hop in the car and visit Bassenthwaite, Keswick and Derwentwater (all within 16.5 miles) for further amenities and tourist spots or to try your hand at boating or fishing on the lake.

As you step inside this welcoming abode, built on the footprint of an old barn, you'll find yourself in a spacious entrance hall, perfect for shedding your boots and outdoor gear after a day of exploring the stunning Lakeland scenery.
