We have had the most enjoyable stay at Meadow Vale View. On entering the cottage it did have the WOW factor. The house is most comfortable and so well designed and equipped. We loved sitting and watching the black rams in the field at the rear of the property. The pub which was a five minute walk was delightful, fantastic food and service. The SundRead moreay roast was amazing. We also enjoyed walking from Threlkeld to Keswick along the old railway line which was so easy and had stunning views. Hide

We cannot praise this stunning cottage highly enough! Beautifully designed in every respect, with stunning views both back and front, maximized to their full potential by the upstairs living room and balcony. The garden was gorgeous, and most relaxing to sit in. We loved the black sheep and lambs at the back, in the adjoining field, and were most dRead moreisappointed when someone came and took them away on our second day! The cottage itself was very spacious, with much thought given to every detail. Hide

Outstanding scenery from the cottage, but further instructions should be included about the appliances. They are usually in all holiday rentals. This is especially important in respect of the downstairs TV, which does not get terrestrial channels, however the upstairs TV does. Overall a very good property in ideal location. The kitchen is particulaRead morerly well equipped. Hide

Beautiful, well appointed cottage in a stunning part of the Lakes. Quality fittings and decor and we'll thought out layout. We particularly appreciated the spacious utility room (with extra fridge freezer) ; underfloor heating that kept us toasty warm despite being a cold week; two sitting areas; and the electric car charger. Ideal location for walRead moreking, didn't use our car all week as so many walks 'from the door'. (Thanks for all the walk books!). House overlooks A66, but wasn't an issue. Hide
