Set in the idyllic grounds of Rydal Hall, family and friends are welcome to get together and easily explore all that the Lake District has to offer, from lazy lake cruises to tree top adventures. Set in over 30 acres of garden, woodland and natural beauty in the Lake District UNESCO World Heritage Site, Rydal Hall is the ideal venue for retreats, activity weekends or just a family holiday. With wonderful views over the Rothay Valley and with the Fairfield Horseshoe and Nab Scar as a backdrop, the Hall and its grounds are the perfect place to enjoy this beautiful part of the world. Both Ambleside and Grasmere are a short journey away and make for a delightful amble, 2 and 3 miles respectively via footpath or fell. After collecting your keys, you are welcomed into the spacious and cosy home from home. On the ground floor, you can find the first lounge, complete with a wood burner and plush sofas. On the same floor, the snug makes for the perfect place for some quiet time away from the rest of the group, with plenty of books on offer you can sit back and enjoy listening to the river flow nearby. Upstairs, each of the four bedrooms beckon you for a good night's sleep, offering views over the manicured grounds to the fells beyond. With a mixture of en-suites and a family bathroom, the whole group can get themselves ready for the day's adventure without fuss.

The private patio to the rear of the property is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine whilst overlooking the river. Beyond this, you are free to roam the shared gardens and acres of woodland. If you can tear yourself away from these beautiful grounds, the fells and lakes can be found on your doorstep.
