This welcoming upside-down cottage is a unique retreat designed for a truly special getaway. As you step inside the hallway with a practical tiled floor, you'll discover three cosy bedrooms on the ground floor. Two are doubles, one of which boasts an en-suite and a dressing room, which would be ideal for a cot, and one is a twin. Each has its own colourful character. There is also a convenient family bathroom featuring a shower over the bath. The ground floor also houses a utility area, perfect for drying off your four-legged friend and muddy walking boots after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. Ascend the stairs to the first floor, where an inviting lounge awaits, complete with a warming wood burner and a captivating picture window that frames breathtaking views of the open countryside. The kitchen and dining area provide the ideal space to prepare and enjoy delicious meals while taking in the beauty of the landscape. There is also an informal lounge area which is great if you want to enjoy a good book and have a space to escape and relax!

Outside, there is an enclosed garden, ideal for your four-legged friends, featuring a delightful patio, comfortable seating, and a charming pergola – the perfect setting to unwind and create lasting memories with loved ones.

What a fantastic place to stay, we absolutely loved our time at Hill View. It was handy to access many of the key areas of the lakes you would want, we took a trip to Keswick, the Wildlife Park and Dodd Wood and had a great place to chill out and relax. The cottage was beautifully clean and well equipped. The view was amazing in this upside down cottage. The garden was fully enclosed and perfect if you are taking a dog with you. Tracy was very welcoming and left a lovely welcome pack and gifts for the kids and dogs.

The cottage is In a beautiful location, really enjoyed our stay the cottage was so well equipped we didn't want for anything, the hosts were very helpful and just a message away if you needed anything, I would highly recommend to anyone. We visited the pub in the village and the locals were friendly and welcoming, we hope to return next year!

This place is amazing-so well equipped (the owners literally have given you everything you need & more) ,& its quiet, lovely views and so dog friendly. Ok -so there are no shops nearby (next village Caldbeck has a shop and theres a little place a few doors down from the cottage that sells farm products via an honesty box) but the views and comfort Read moreare fabulous.
