Positioned in the market town of Keswick, the property is 700 metres from its myriad of amenities, and the same distance from Derwentwater and the Theatre on the Lake. You can walk from your front door to picturesque fells and discover lakeside walks. Keswick holds an annual Mountain Festival which features outstanding sporting events, speakers and live music. This is the perfect base to get out and explore the Northern Lakes. There is a great selection of fells and Wainwrights to tackle in the local area. Whinlatter Forest, with its fantastic bike tracks and walks, is less than 5 miles away. You can also hop on an open-top bus and take in a day tour of the Lakes hopping on and off at your leisure.

Discover the comfort and convenience at this terrace property, a magnificent four-bedroom, townhouse nestled in the heart of Keswick, named after one of the most famous rock climbing routes in the country. The entrance leads you into the hallway; the ground floor offers an open-plan lounge and dining room featuring a wood burner – it is a great space to catch up with family and friends and make plans for the days ahead. The kitchen is found off the dining room and is well equipped to rustle up a hearty breakfast or nip back for lunch. There is also a handy downstairs WC. Ascending to the first floor, on the mid-landing, you will find the family bathroom adorned with a roll-top bath, shower cubicle and a WC. On the first floor, you will find two bedrooms: a double with an en-suite shower room, along with a second double bedroom next door. The second floor offers a further two bedrooms (a twin and a bunk room), one of which has stunning views across to Catbells and the western fells.

We really loved our stay. The house is brilliant. Bright, clean and well equipped. We all slept wonderfully! Well set up for small people with plastic cutlery/crookery/beakers, games, toys, cot and high chair. Great drying rack in the bathroom for all the wet stuff! Really quiet street and we easily found on street parking even in the height of sumRead moremer. Could walk into the town and the lake easily with children. Great stay - would definitely recommend!
