Discover inspiration at Beatrix Potter’s Hill Top farmhouse (10 miles), where creativity flourished. Pack a picnic for Wordsworth’s beloved Rydal Water (4 miles) and explore the poet's connections at Rydal Mount (3.5 miles) and Dora’s Field. Round off the day with a serene sunset cruise on Lake Windermere (5.5 miles) before returning to your snug cottage retreat.

This spacious open-plan cottage instantly welcomes you as you walk through the front door. With plenty of space to kick off your boots and hang up your jackets, the hallway opens up directly into the kitchen, dining room and lounge. Amply equipped with everything you need to make a romantic meal for two, the open plan design creates a truly social place to be together. Evenings can be enjoyed cosied up on the spacious sofa, whilst watching your favourite films on the Smart TV. Enjoy the flicker of the wood-burning stove on those cooler nights. The bedroom, again spacious and beautifully appointed, is the perfect place to rest after a day of exploration, with wall-mounted TV mornings can be enjoyed with breakfast in bed. Next door the en-suite shower room offers a rainfall shower to refresh yourself for the day ahead.

Straight from the front door you can take a dip in the hot-tub whilst enjoying a glass of fizz or two! Travel slightly up the pathway to access to the elevated patio, where evenings can be spent dining al-fresco, taking in the stunning views. Parking is slightly up from the property and has parking for 1 car.
