We enjoyed our stay once we got the cottage warm and cozy. Right in the middle of the village with good walking from the door.

Amazing cottage in the centre of the village with the all important parking. Very cosy and well kitted out. If coming out of season call in at the local shop for wood and coal to warm the place through!

Mill Race Cottage is small but makes good use of the space available. It is in an excellent location to enjoy all that the Langdales have to offer.

Lovely cottage, clean and well equipped. Great location by river with pub across the street. Great walks directly from the door and even more a short journey away into Langdale.

The cottage is cosy in a lovely location. Perfect for 2, a squeeze for 4 but ok. Outside space is relaxing, with the river rushing by.

Beautiful position, beautiful views and very clean. Parking can be difficult due to tight gap getting into space when neighbour parks badly but there is other parking nearby. The kitchen is tiny but so well organised! We were impressed. We loved the heated under blankets on the beds!
