This delightful, detached bungalow offers wonderful views and is situated in the south Lakeland village of Arnside, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The bustling village centre is on the coastline just under a mile away, offering shore walks and a lovely pier. The railway station is passed on route, where you can hop on a train to cross the estuary and be in the pretty coastal Edwardian town of Grange Over Sands in no time. In Arnside, there are two dog-friendly pubs, a range of cafes and their famous fish and chip shop. Take a walk to Arnside Knott, a hill renowned for its wildlife and summit viewpoint. Look out for deer, wildflowers and rare butterflies along the way. The 13th-century Levens Hall, 6 miles away, is home to gorgeous gardens with world-class topiary. Alternatively, visit Sizergh castle (8 miles) just outside the market town of Kendal. England’s longest lake, Windermere, is 19 miles away, where you can take a boat trip around the famous lake. Stop off at Bowness for the bars and shops or Lakeside for Lakes Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway.

Set over two floors, this spacious, light-filled property makes the most of its fabulous location. Enter through the porch into the open-plan kitchen/diner with a comfortable seating area that looks out over the countryside. On this floor, there is a cosy double bedroom and the master bedroom, which has a double bed, two child-size (2'6'') beds, and a large picture window offering beautiful views. Upstairs, the spacious landing doubles as a second lounge area, with plenty of seating and a Velux window. There is also a double bedroom tucked under the eaves with its own stylish en-suite shower room.

The garden wraps around the whole property with terraces and a rockery. Out front, there is a good-sized decked balcony, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views towards the estuary and beyond.
