Just a short drive away are Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre (3 miles), Hill Top, Beatrix Potter’s former home (12 miles) and the hiking areas of Wansfell Pike (5 miles), Grasmere (8.5 miles) and Grizedale Forest (13 miles).
