Enjoying a tranquil location on a working sheep farm, this delightful pod provides a wonderful hideaway for a couple in search of an idyllic romantic retreat. Featuring a private hot tub, this romantic getaway offers warm and cosy accommodation for two guests, with glorious views across the surrounding fells. Part of a small complex of similar properties, this beautifully designed cabin makes a wonderfully relaxing bolthole. Just a few miles from the Lakeland town of Keswick, the pod makes a great base for exploring the northern parts of the Lake District, with Derwentwater, Ullswater and Bassenthwaite Lake all within easy reach.

 

Stepping into this welcoming pod you will find the fresh and tastefully decorated open-plan living area. Dominated by the cosy double bed, this main room also features a delightful dining area, comfortable seating for two and a Smart TV so you can snuggle up and enjoy a favourite movie. The kitchen is equipped with a hob, combi-microwave and fridge with ice compartment. The pod also has a stylish shower room. Outside, dry-stone walls separate the pods and provide privacy. Featuring garden planters, a patio and outdoor furniture, this is a great space for sitting back on a lazy afternoon, or you can take a dip in the private hot tub tucked round the side of the pod which offering views towards Blencathra.

 

The picturesque village of Threlkeld (1 mile), has several friendly pubs and tearooms. Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum is also nearby (0.5 miles). The bustling town of Keswick (4 miles) is at the head of Derwentwater and is home to the Derwent Pencil Museum, Puzzling Place and Keswick Adventure Centre. Local attractions include Aira Force Waterfall near Ullswater (10 miles), Castlerigg Stone Circle (3 miles) and the peaks of Skiddaw (8.5 miles) and Helvellyn (7 miles).

Ok if you want to drive out daily not good for privacy too close to others, but nice clean

A wonderful break. The pod has amazing views. Spotlessly clean and perfectly sized for a couple plus a dog. Kitchen well equipped with a good sized fridge, microwave, kettle and gas hob. The welcome snack basket and the complimentary toiletries were a nice surprise. The hot tub was perfectly situated for privacy and the views. Would definitely recoRead moremmend. Hide

We had such a lovely stay, the little hamper was a really nice gesture. The property was lovely and clean and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!
