3 night stay which was very comfortable, cottage is very spacious and warm. It was clean and well equipped with all home comforts. The cottage has a lot of character as some parts are old. Private garden area is a lovely bonus. Only negative is proximity to the narrow part of the road which is often busy and creates road noise. The owners have howeRead morever added extra glazing to the bedroom windows. It wouldnt put me off staying there again and the village proximity is good for all local amenities. Hide

A lovely, characterful cottage with period features. Well-equipped, clean and bigger than the photos suggest. A nice little garden, we made pie from the apples off the tree. The village has a couple of good shops (with limited opening hours) and two nice pubs. Would stay again.

Prior to our visit I was worrying about the beds comfort due to previous reviews, that was a waste of worry as there was no problems with the beds we a family of 6 had no issues at all. The garden was lovely, the bath is brilliantly deep. There is a tall step into the kitchen and not really an easy to grab rail on the so for anyone with slight issuRead morees with their legs this maybe am issue. But all in all a lovely place to stay and visit Hide
