Lovely cottage in stunning location. Amazing garden that gets the sun throughout the day (if you luck out with the cumbrian weather!) Kitchen well stocked / catered. Living room v cosy with fire on! The bedrooms were generally a bit on the cosy side but didnt cause us a problem as we only used them to sleep in. Courtyard is a bit tight to drivRead moree into through the fence - especially in a wider car. Generally an amazing stay though, easy foothpaths up to Latrigg & Skiddaw. Would defo return! Hide

Excellent home from home. Lovely rolltop bath and excellent shower. 3 good size double rooms, with a very small childrens cot. There is a single on the ground floor. Would highly recommend!!

Latrigg View is a lovely property with a delightful garden. We had a great week. A couple of things would have made it even better. A freezer would have been a great boon. One bathroom for up to six adults, plus children, means some timetabling is required. A second toilet is very small, has no floor covering and no toilet brush. The gateway is extRead moreremely narrow - just a few inches wider would be very helpful. Hide

Latrigg View was perfect in every way for our family get together which included a 9 month old baby! Lovely cosy sitting/dining area with log fire and plenty of space. Beautiful garden with charming verandah area and beautiful views. A pleasant (20-25 minute) cross country walk into Keswick with its coffee shops and supermarket. Lots of interestingRead more places to visit - we enjoyed the Pencil Museum! Would highly recommend. Hide

Wonderfully characterful house (wooden beams hundreds of years old, interesting art and sculptures, etc), downstairs is open plan which is fabulous for a young family (or anyone really). Low ceiling will have anyone over 6ft stooping a lot, but not a problem. Garden lovely, especially with the stream running through it. Very quiet area - very relaxRead moreing. Bathroom excellent. Well equipped kitchen. Parking space good for 2, and can take 3. Recommended! Hide

We found the cottage very cold even after we lit a log fire. The central heating and fire did not allow the lower ground floor to heat up.

A lovely house in a great location. We loved the garden and being able to have our breakfast at the table outside and plan our day. It's about a 30 minute walk into the centre of Keswick and a 20 minute walk to the Pheasant Inn, worth booking a table there for a meal. The house is clean and the beds comfortable. There's an excellent BBQ. The gatewaRead morey into the property is a little tight, wouldn't want to try getting a large car in. I would stay here again and can recommend it. Hide
