This is a superb cottage. Very comfortable, immaculately clean and a lovely little welcome pack. The fridge is very small with a tiny freezer space so dont bring too much to stock it. You will need to supply yourselves with basics Oliver oil etc which is normal. The underfloor heating is lovely and we didnt need to use the wood burner as it iRead mores very cosy and really comfortable. The location is fantastic with all within a few minutes walk. Great cheese shop in the village, the village shop is great and the Premier shop has most things one would need. The cottage has a great kitchen and laundry room, the kitchen has all you need for cooking with local produce. We have already decided to return probably again and again. Sarah Hide

We had such a comfortable stay in this very cosy cottage. So much so that we have booked to return next year: the situation in the centre of Cartmel is so convenient and despite the constant rain, we managed to have a very relaxing and memorable time.

Town Close is perfect and just a delight to spend time in. Our first visit to Cartmel and hope we are lucky enough to stay in the house again. The owners have thought of everything and the welcoming feeling is there from the moment you open the front door. It was perfect for our dog Mabel and we found some great walks from the house.
